Open Your Mind! Expand Your Horizons! – Quick 15 minute show

Most of you know that I am a vegetarian, middle of the road Democrat and against animal

testing for cosmetics. What you may not know is that I am a supporter of the right to bear

arms and, while I do not hunt or eat meat myself, I can see the need for others to do so

and hold no “beef” with them over it. In fact, I have recently begun selling Pella hunting

wear and gear in cooperation with PheasantPhun.com and TeamHuntress.com and am finding a

new appreciation for it!

I believe it is extremely important for us to keep our minds open, live and let live and

not attack one another over our beliefs. There is room for all of us in this world and

plenty of room for varying opinions.

Last night for Halloween,  I “dressed up” my Twitter profile as Mae West and tweeted Mae’s quotes all night! If you have never done something like that, I HIGHLY recommend it for next year! It was a COMPLETE BLAST~!!!

And I’ve been getting a lot of requests for custom wholesale – an oxymoron! LOL So have to

pull the plug on that one for now in small quantities since that is NOT wholesale, but

custom only – it should have a higher price!

And the doctors I ask about skin care are Dr. Perricone and Dr. Murad, mainly. Dr. François

Marceau did some testing on a rabbit’s ear in Canada – I am against animal testing for

cosmetics – and he is afraid DMAE causes fibroblasts – which are formed during the genysis

of collagen tissue, by the way, but hypothesizes that DMAE may cause thickening of the

skin. I have been using DMAE for 7 years and have nothing but fantastic things to say! Of

course I am not documented, so I am documenting that fact today! The article:

Anti-Aging – How To Prevent and Get Rid of Under Eye Dark Circles

Make sure your eyes are FABULOUS this Holiday Season!

It’s that time of year again. Time to rush around shopping for all of the holidays! This is exciting and even I can get caught up in it, but there are a couple of things we need to do so we’ll still look great at all the parties!

What causes dark circles under your eyes? Is it from staying up late? Is it from not getting enough sleep? Well, yes, lack of rest can certainly emphasize those shadows under your eyes and even more so, accentuate the puffiness. One of the things that really causes dark circles is consuming a diet or drinks that cycle sugar and salt, sugar and salt. This may be why women tend to have puffy, dark circles during PMS, diet related. Yes, I know…but it’s true.

My response to this logic was that I should eat all sweets or all salt that day. Here’s why that won’t work, yeah, no, it won’t work =( Even something as harmless as chocolate has a great deal of BOTH salt and sugar in it. In fact, most sweets have a very high sodium content. Now, I am realistic and I believe in moderation, that is still the key! But if you begin to see darker than normal circles or puffier than usual eye area, try cutting out something you “know” is slightly evil from your diet. It won’t hurt. I promise =)

Creating your own custom formulations can not only save money, but often is much more effective!

Simple Key to Great Skin

If you have normal skin or trouble-free skin, the most important key to great skin is also the easiest:  follow a regimen.

What is a regimen? Quite simply, it is to follow a skin care schedule religiously. It is important to never skip a step -ever. Never go to sleep with makeup on. It is important to cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin twice daily and always use sunscreen.

There is a good reason why you may feel you have heard this before; you probably have! In fact, if you are NOT already following a skin care regimen, I would be surprised. It is important to follow steps correctly as illustrated in the following video.

Remember, it is just a few minutes of your time, but skip it once, skip it twice, and time’s minutes begin to show on your face! Routine!
